Welcome to Worthing U3A
A few words from the Chair
We started our Worthing U3A 20 years ago and from very small beginnings now have
over 400 members.
This website will show you in detail the many facilities that, for an annual fee,
can be accessed by our members.
The U3A has many facets. It provides an opportunity for continued learning for retired
men and women, embracing recreational as well as academic pursuits.
The over-arching benefit is the comradeship it can provide.
Some of our members live alone and U3A is motivational for them and helps them to
forge new friendships.
Whatever your situation, if you have retired, this organisation has so much to offer.
On the other side of the coin we need contributors e.g people to run the interest
groups as volunteers, helpers at events and Committee members.
So if you want to have a key and active role, that opportunity is also there.
